Bill Harrington is the Owner/President of Harrington Construction; a family owned and operated business. Obtaining his Florida State Certified residential license at the age of 20, in 1976, he was one of the youngest builders to be certified by the state of Florida. In 1978 he obtained his Florida State Certified commercial license that enabled him to build commercially anywhere in the state. Throughout the years, Harrington Construction began to specialize in constructing custom homes in high velocity building zones along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. By using innovative structural designs they were able to produce a home that was cost effective, stronger, and more appealing in design than other custom builders. With advancements in building technology and the belief that we should always strive to better ourselves and our products, Harrington Construction has taken the initiative to be a leader in sustainable/green/energy efficient construction, which has lead us to the concept of “High Performance” construction.
